How to Delete my Account

So you have an account in Torchable and would like it deleted? We are sad to see you go but understand and are grateful you gave us a try.

Here is how you can delete your account: 

1. While signed into your account, click on the profile icon in the lower right corner of the screen. 
2. Scroll to the bottom of the profile page and tap the red "Delete Account" button. 
3. This will take you to our Delete Account page. Here it will show you an outline of all the content you are the owner of that will be deleted with your account. 
   • Church: If you are the only admin of a church profile, the church will revert to an unclaimed church profile when your account is deleted. 
   • Groups: If you are the only admin of a group, it will be deleted with your account. To avoid this, you can add other admins to the group. If this is done, your account will just be removed from the group when deleted. 
   • Events: If you are the only admin of an event, it will be deleted with your account. To avoid this, you can add other admins to the event. If this is done, your account will just be removed from the event when deleted. 
4. After reviewing all of the content that will be deleted with your account, you can tap the red "Confirm and Delete Account" button. This will place your account in the queue to be deleted after 24 hours. If during that time you change your mind, you can sign back into your account and it will stop the deletion process. 
5. Once your account is deleted all information tied to the account is permanently lost.
