If you are not seeing your church in Torchable anyone can add a church to the system. If you are a normal user, you can add your church, which will be listed as an unclaimed church once approved. Unclaimed churches can be followed and can be helpful to allow other users to find the church, but you are not able to connect groups or events to unclaimed churches.
If you are a church admin and want to add your church to the system, this process will also work for that. When the church is approved, you will have full admin access to the church's profile.
Here is how it is done:
- Open up the Community tab in the Torchable App and select "Churches".
- Tap the green + button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
- Then fill out our Church Info form.
- If you are a normal attendee of the church, select "no" on the last question.
- If you work for the church and would like to be the admin, make sure to select "yes" on the last question. We will then not only verify the church but also verify that you should be the church admin. Keep in mind that the account filling out the form will become the church admin once everything is processed.
- After submitting, allow some time for our team to verify that all the information is correct.
- Once approved, you will receive a notification letting you know that your church has been added.
